This beautiful indigo baule textile is 100% handcrafted and plant-based, from the fibers to the handprinted dyes. It was made in West Africa where artisans have been perfecting their craft for centuries.

I recommended applying stain repellent occasionally to help keep the fabric clean. Dry cleaning is best if the bag needs deep cleaning. For spot cleaning, use a gentle soap, warm water, and a light touch to prevent the natural dyes from bleeding.
Leather balm may be used to add suppleness to the leather as needed. Vegetable tanned leather is tanned without chemicals, and will soften and darken with use.
